Connection Modes
- Default (Mokonyx) — Uses the pre-configured Mokonyx app. Just enter your User ID.
- Custom — Use your own Meta app credentials.
Credentials
- Threads User ID — Your numeric user ID on Threads.
- Access Token (Custom mode) — From the Meta Developer Portal.
How It Works
Threads uses a two-step publishing process: first a media container is created, then it is published. MokonyxSocial handles both steps automatically.
Limits
500 characters per post. Media attachments are supported.
Choosing a Connection Mode
- Default (Mokonyx) is the quickest path — ideal if you just want posts flowing with minimal setup.
- Custom suits organizations that prefer to publish through their own Meta app for full control over credentials and app settings.
Verifying It Works
Publish a test article and confirm the post appears on Threads, then review the MokonyxSocial Activity Logs for the delivery status.
