Why Cross-Post to LinkedIn
LinkedIn is where your professional audience spends its time. Automatically sharing new content keeps your profile or company page active, extends the reach of your articles, and drives qualified traffic back to your site — without the manual copy-and-paste of every post.
Credentials
- Access Token — Obtained via OAuth authorization flow.
- Organization ID (optional) — Your LinkedIn Company Page ID. Leave empty to post as your personal profile.
- Refresh Token (optional) — For automatic token renewal when the access token expires.
Authorization
- Save the service (with Organization ID if posting as a company).
- Click Connect to LinkedIn.
- Authorize access on LinkedIn's consent screen.
- Your access token is saved automatically.
Posting as a Company Page
To post as your company, enter the Organization ID. Find it in your Company Page URL or via the LinkedIn Marketing API. You must be an admin of the page.
Limits
3,000 characters per post. LinkedIn supports rich link previews with images from the article URL.
Tips for Best Results
- Lead with value — Open your post with the key takeaway so it reads well in the LinkedIn feed before the link preview.
- Keep the connection healthy — If you provide a Refresh Token, MokonyxSocial can renew access automatically; without one you may need to reconnect when the token expires.
- Confirm admin rights — Company-page posting requires that your LinkedIn account is an administrator of that page.
Troubleshooting
If posts stop publishing, the most common cause is an expired access token — reconnect the service to refresh authorization. If a company post fails, verify the Organization ID is correct and that your account still has admin access to the page.
