Credentials

  • API Key — SendGrid API key with Marketing permissions.
  • Contact List ID — The contact list to send to.
  • From Email (optional) — Verified sender email address.
  • From Name (optional) — Display name for the sender.

Setup

  1. In Joomla, go to Components, Mokonyx Social, and add a SendGrid service.
  2. Enter your API key and contact list ID.
  3. Save and publish the service.

Before You Send

  • Verify your sender. SendGrid requires a verified From address; use a verified email and matching From name for the best deliverability.
  • Scope the API key narrowly. Grant Marketing permissions only, so a leaked key has limited reach.
  • Double-check the contact list. Confirm the list ID targets the audience you intend before publishing the service.

How Delivery Works

When an article is cross-posted, MokonyxSocial creates a Single Send campaign to your chosen contact list using the article content. Review sends in your SendGrid dashboard, and check the MokonyxSocial Activity Logs for status.
