Constant Contact is a long-established email marketing platform built around contact lists and campaigns. Linking it to MokonyxSocial means each new article can reach your subscribers automatically — keeping your audience engaged without copying content back and forth between your site and your email tool.

Credentials

  • Access Token — Issued during OAuth authorization; grants MokonyxSocial permission to act on your Constant Contact account.
  • Refresh Token — Used for automatic token renewal so the connection stays active without frequent re-authorization.
  • Contact List IDs — A comma-separated list of the Constant Contact list IDs that should receive the campaign.

Authorization

  1. In Joomla, go to Components, Mokonyx Social, and add a Constant Contact service.
  2. Enter your Contact List IDs and save the service.
  3. Click Connect to Constant Contact to authorize the connection through OAuth 2.0.
  4. Your access and refresh tokens are stored automatically once you approve access.

Notes

MokonyxSocial uses the stored refresh token to renew the access token over time, so the connection keeps working without manual intervention. Campaigns are created against the list IDs you provide.

Tips for Best Results

  • Target the right lists — Confirm each Contact List ID points to the audience you intend to email before saving the service.
  • Keep the connection healthy — The refresh token lets MokonyxSocial renew access automatically; if campaigns stop sending, re-run the authorization step to refresh your OAuth tokens.
  • Review your sending reputation — Use a verified, consistent sender identity in Constant Contact so campaigns land reliably in subscriber inboxes.

Troubleshooting

If campaigns don't send, the most common cause is an expired or revoked authorization — reconnect the service to refresh the OAuth tokens. If a campaign reaches the wrong people or no one at all, verify the Contact List IDs are correct and formatted as a comma-separated list.
