Credentials
- API Key — Brevo API key from your account settings.
- Contact List ID — Brevo contact list to send campaigns to.
- Sender Email — Must be a verified sender in your Brevo account.
- Sender Name — Display name for the sender.
Setup
- In Joomla, go to Components, Mokonyx Social, and add a Brevo service.
- Enter your API key, contact list ID, and verified sender.
- Save and publish the service.
Tips for Best Results
- Verify your sender first — Brevo will only send from a verified sender email; complete verification in your Brevo account before saving the service.
- Target the right list — Confirm the Contact List ID points to the audience you intend to email.
- Protect your API key — Treat the API key as a secret and regenerate it in Brevo if it is ever exposed.
Troubleshooting
If campaigns don't send, verify the API key is valid, the Contact List ID is correct, and the sender email is verified in Brevo. Authentication errors almost always trace back to an invalid or revoked API key.
