Why Send Articles to Google Chat
If your team collaborates in Google Workspace, Google Chat is a natural place to surface new content. Automatically posting articles to a space keeps everyone aware of what's just been published — ideal for internal updates, editorial coordination, or team announcements — without anyone having to share links manually.
Credentials
- Webhook URL — Google Chat space webhook URL.
Setup
- Open the Google Chat space.
- Click the space name, then Manage Webhooks (or Apps and Integrations).
- Create a new webhook, name it, and copy the URL.
- Paste the webhook URL into the Google Chat service in MokonyxSocial and save.
Tips for Best Results
- One webhook per space — Each webhook posts to a single space; create a separate webhook for every space you want to notify.
- Keep the URL private — A webhook URL allows anyone who has it to post to the space, so treat it as a secret.
- Check permissions — Creating webhooks may require appropriate access within your Google Workspace organization.
Troubleshooting
If notifications don't appear, confirm the webhook URL was copied completely and is still valid — removing the webhook in Google Chat invalidates the URL, and a new one must be created and re-entered in MokonyxSocial.
