🧾 Enabling the Module

1. Navigate to:
   Home → Setup → Modules → Dynamic Prices
2. Click Activate (Note: module is marked experimental)
3. Ensure the Products module is also enabled

🧮 Defining a Dynamic Price Rule

1. Go to Products → Product → Prices
2. Select Dynamic price as the pricing method
3. Enter a mathematical expression using available variables such as:
   • cost – purchase or cost price
   • qty – ordered quantity
   • margin – fixed percentage margin
   • date – transaction date
4. Example expression: cost * 1.2 + 5 or if(qty > 10, cost * 0.9, cost * 1.1)

📈 How It Works

• Price is calculated in real-time when:
  • Adding the product to proposals, orders, or invoices
  • Changing the quantity or date of the transaction
• Final calculated price is stored on the document line when validated

⚙️ Integration With Other Modules

• Products/Services: Define cost and default parameters
• Sales Documents: Uses dynamic price during document creation
• Stock: Cost values pulled from last purchase or fixed product cost

• Test price expressions carefully to avoid unexpected results
• Keep formulas simple and readable
• Use clear fallback values to handle edge cases (e.g., if(cost, cost * 1.3, 10))
• Document rules internally for future maintenance
• Monitor calculation results for anomalies while the module is marked experimental
