Requirements

MokoSuiteSocial requires Joomla 6.0 or higher and PHP 8.3 or higher.

Installing the package

  1. Download the latest pkg_mokosuitesocial-*.zip from the MokoConsulting downloads.
  2. In the Joomla administrator, go to System → Install → Extensions and upload the package file.
  3. The package installs the component and the system, content and web-services plugins, and enables all bundled plugins automatically on install.

What gets installed

  • com_mokosuitesocial — the admin component (tag manager, coverage dashboard, options)
  • System plugin — injects the social meta tags and JSON-LD into every front-end page
  • Content plugin — adds the OG fields tab to the article editor and auto-generates tags on save
  • Web Services plugin — exposes the REST API

Updates

MokoSuiteSocial registers a Joomla update site, so new versions appear under System → Update → Extensions. Licensed downloads use your Download ID (DLID); set it in the plugin settings (see Configuration).

Open Components → MokoSuite Social and its configuration to set your site name, default OG image and other site-wide defaults.
