MokoSuiteSocial is installed as a Joomla package extension containing the core component, system plugins, and all service plugins for 36+ platforms. Installation takes just a few minutes.

Requirements

  • Joomla 6.0 or higher
  • PHP 8.3 or higher
  • cURL PHP extension (enabled by default on most hosts)

Installation Steps

  1. Download the package ZIP from the Moko Consulting portal or your WaaS dashboard.
  2. In Joomla, navigate to System → Install → Extensions.
  3. Upload the package ZIP file and click Upload and Install.
  4. The installer will automatically enable the core component, system plugin, and all service plugins.

After Installation

Navigate to Components → MokoSuite Social to access the dashboard. From here you can:

  • Add your first service connection
  • Configure message templates
  • Set up queue processing (recommended: Joomla Scheduled Tasks)

Queue Processing Setup

For reliable delivery, we recommend using Joomla's built-in Task Scheduler:

  1. Go to System → Scheduled Tasks.
  2. Click New and select MokoSuite Social - Process Queue.
  3. Set the interval (e.g., every 5 minutes).
  4. Save and enable the task.

Alternatively, page-load processing is available as a fallback for sites without cron access, but it is less reliable on low-traffic sites.

Update Server

MokoSuiteSocial includes a Joomla update server. When new versions are released, you will see an update notification in System → Update → Extensions.
