Adding a Service

- Category: MokoSuiteSocial
- Applicable Software: MokoSuiteSocial
- Min Version Number: In Development
- Max Version Number: Not Applicable
Services are the platforms MokoSuiteSocial sends your articles to. Each service represents a single connection — for example your Facebook page, your Telegram channel, or your Mailchimp audience.
Step-by-Step
- Navigate to Components → MokoSuite Social → Services.
- Click New in the toolbar.
- Enter a Title for the service.
- Select the Service Type from the dropdown — this determines which credential fields appear.
- Fill in the connection details that appear (API keys, tokens, webhook URLs, etc.).
- Set the Status to Published.
- Click Save.
Default vs Custom Mode
Some services (Telegram, Discord, Slack, Teams, Facebook, Threads) offer two connection modes:
- Default (MokoWaaS) — Uses pre-configured credentials managed by Moko Consulting. You only need to provide your channel or page ID.
- Custom — Bring your own API keys and tokens for full control over the bot or app identity.
OAuth Services
Services that require OAuth authorization (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) have an additional step:
- Save the service first with any required fields.
- A Connect button will appear.
- Click it to open the platform's authorization page.
- Grant access — you will be redirected back, and your token is saved automatically.
Testing Your Connection
After saving a service, publish a test article to verify the connection works. Check the Post Queue to see if the post was delivered successfully.
