MokoSuite Bot (@mokosuite_bot) Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the MokoSuite Telegram Bot (@mokosuite_bot) collects, uses, and protects your information.

Bot Purpose

@mokosuite_bot is operated by Moko Consulting and provides automated cross-posting of Joomla website content to Telegram channels and groups as part of the MokoSuiteCross extension.

Information Collected

  • Chat ID: The Telegram chat, group, or channel ID where the bot is added, used to deliver messages.
  • Message Metadata: Delivery status and timestamps for cross-posted messages.
  • Bot Commands: Commands sent to the bot (e.g., /start, /help) and the user ID of the sender.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not read or store private messages
  • We do not collect user profile information beyond what Telegram provides with bot interactions
  • We do not track your activity outside of bot interactions
  • We do not share any data with third parties

How We Use Information

  • Deliver cross-posted content to configured Telegram chats
  • Respond to bot commands
  • Monitor delivery success/failure for service reliability

Data Storage

  • Chat IDs and delivery logs are stored on our servers (git.mokoconsulting.tech)
  • Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Delivery logs retained for 90 days
  • Chat configuration retained while the service is active

Data Deletion

To remove your data:

  • Remove @mokosuite_bot from your group/channel and we will delete associated data within 30 days
  • Or contact us at to request immediate deletion

Bot Permissions

@mokosuite_bot requests only the minimum permissions needed:

  • Send messages: To deliver cross-posted content
  • Send media: To include images with posts

The bot does not request admin permissions and cannot read messages from other users in groups.

Changes to This Policy

Updates will be posted at this URL. The bot's /privacy command will always link to the current version.
