Configuration
- Feed Title (optional) — Title for the generated RSS feed. Defaults to the site name.
- Max Feed Items — Maximum number of items in the feed. Default: 50.
How It Works
The RSS Feed service is local — it does not call any external API. When an article is cross-posted to the RSS Feed service, a record is created in the post queue. The feed view reads from this table to generate the RSS XML output.
No Credentials Needed
This is a local service that generates an RSS feed from your cross-posted articles. No API keys or external credentials are required.
What You Can Do With It
Because it produces standard RSS, this feed is a flexible building block:
- Feed other tools that accept RSS, such as newsletter builders or automation services.
- Offer a curated feed containing only the articles you chose to cross-post, rather than everything on the site.
- Let readers subscribe in their favorite RSS reader.
Tips
- Set a descriptive Feed Title so subscribers know what they are following.
- Tune Max Feed Items to balance freshness against feed size.
