Queue Statuses
- Queued — Waiting to be processed.
- Posting — Currently being sent to the platform.
- Posted — Successfully delivered.
- Failed — Delivery failed. Failed posts are automatically retried.
- Scheduled — Set to be posted at a future date/time.
Automatic Dispatch
You do not need to send the queue by hand. On install, MokonyxSocial seeds a Joomla Scheduled Task that dispatches the queue every 15 minutes, so queued posts go out on their own. Manage it under System → Scheduled Tasks (the Mokonyx Social dispatch task) — adjust the interval or disable it there. You can also dispatch a single post on demand from the queue toolbar, or via the REST API.
Retry Behavior
Failed posts are automatically retried with exponential delay. Configure in Components → Mokonyx Social → Options:
- Max Retries — How many times to retry (default: 3)
- Retry Delay — Base delay in seconds between retries (default: 300)
