Why Cross-Post Galleries

A gallery often represents your best visual work — event photos, a product shoot, a portfolio update — but it only helps if people see it. Cross-posting pushes a new gallery to your social channels automatically when it is published, so your audience discovers it without any separate manual posting.

Cross-Posting Modes

MokonyxSocial offers two ways to cross-post gallery content:

  • Gallery mode — Posts a single announcement with preview thumbnails that links back to the full gallery on your site. This is a good fit when you want to drive traffic to the gallery itself.
  • Image mode — Posts each image individually to your connected platforms. This works well when each image can stand on its own.

Templates and Tracking

Both modes use your configured message templates, so the wording and formatting stay consistent with the rest of your cross-posts. Every gallery post is tracked in the Post Queue, where you can confirm what was sent and to which platforms, just like article and event cross-posts.

Choosing a Mode

  • Use Gallery mode to promote a collection and send people to your site.
  • Use Image mode when you want maximum visibility for each individual image.
  • If you are unsure, start with Gallery mode — it keeps feeds tidy with one post per gallery and still showcases the images through thumbnails.

Tips

  • Curate before publishing. In Image mode every image becomes its own post, so include only the images you want shared individually.
  • Keep templates on-brand. Use the same message templates you use for articles so gallery posts read consistently across channels.
  • Check the Post Queue after publishing to confirm the gallery went out to each connected platform.
