The Report Engine builds ad-hoc reports over any dataset, in whichever style suits you — all producing the same safe, read-only query.

Pick a mode

  • Drag-and-drop (default) — choose a dataset, then drag dimensions, measures and filters into place; set grouping, sort and a date range.
  • Search operators — type a quick query like status:open amount>100 -assignee:none to filter fast.
  • Raw SQL — advanced users (with the report-SQL permission) can edit the generated SQL directly; it runs read-only in a sandbox.

Visualize & reuse

Results render as a sortable table or a Chart.js chart. Save a report to re-run it, drop it onto a dashboard, or export it.

Note: the report-builder interface is rolling out; the engine powering it ships in current builds.
