The plugin listens for article publish events in Joomla and sends a formatted message to your Discord server through a webhook. Because it runs automatically, your community sees new content as soon as it goes live, and your team avoids the repetitive work of copying links into Discord by hand.

Requirements
- Joomla 5.x or 6.x

Setup
- Create a webhook in your Discord server (Server Settings > Integrations > Webhooks).
- Download from releases.
- Install in Joomla and configure with your webhook URL.
- Map categories to Discord channels as needed.
Tips for Clean Posts
- Use category-to-channel mapping so announcements land in the right place instead of a single busy channel.
- Enable rich embeds with thumbnails so posts stand out in the Discord feed.
- Keep your webhook URL private; treat it like a credential, since anyone with it can post to your channel.
