MokonyxPlatform: Installation & Setup

Install

  1. Download the latest pkg_mokonyxclient-*.zip from your Mokonyx releases.
  2. In Joomla, go to System → Install → Upload Package File and drop the ZIP.
  3. The package auto-enables its plugins and sets protected status so it can't be accidentally removed.

First steps

  • Open Mokonyx → Dashboard to confirm all plugins show green.
  • Set your primary domain and heartbeat settings under the System – MokonyxPlatform plugin.
  • The site registers with MokonyxHQ automatically on the first heartbeat.

Requirements: Joomla 5.x or 6.x, PHP 8.3+.

What the Package Installs

Because MokonyxPlatform ships as one package, a single upload sets up everything it needs and enables its plugins for you — there is no separate plugin-by-plugin activation step. The protected status means the package will not be removed by accident during routine extension cleanup.

After Installation Checklist

  1. Confirm the Dashboard shows all plugins green.
  2. Enter your primary domain so heartbeats and registration use the right host.
  3. Watch for the first successful heartbeat to confirm the site registered with MokonyxHQ.
