• Applicable Software: MokoNtfy
  • Max Version Number: Not Applicable

Where it lives

MokoNtfy is hosted at ntfy.mokoconsulting.tech. The web app, REST API, and notification endpoints all run from that address.

Accounts & access

  • Sign-in is required to use the web app and to publish or subscribe.
  • Self-registration is disabled — accounts are provisioned by Moko Consulting. Contact us to have an account created.
  • Sign in with Google is supported. New Google sign-ins are held for administrator approval before access is granted.
  • Accounts use a tiered role model: owner › admin › user.

What you can do with it

  • Publish a message to a topic with a single HTTP request from any language or the command line.
  • Subscribe to topics from the web app, the Android/iOS app, or the ntfy CLI.
  • Add titles, priorities, tags/emojis, click actions, and file attachments to your messages.
  • Browser (web push) notifications are enabled — receive notifications in the background without keeping the ntfy tab focused (support varies by browser and OS).
  • Set a per-topic notification level: All messages, Important only (high/urgent priority only), or Muted.
  • Create access tokens for scripts, with a one-click Download as JSON to save a token safely at creation time.
  • Install the app (PWA) on desktop or phone for a standalone window, launcher icon, and unread badge.
  • Email notifications are available for message delivery.

First-run guided tour

The first time you sign in, MokoNtfy walks you through the interface with a short guided tour. You can replay it any time from Take the tour in the profile menu.

For administrators

Administrators get a dedicated Site Administration area (reached from the profile menu) for site-wide settings such as Branding and Google sign-up approvals. From Branding, an admin can change the displayed app name, theme colors, and the favicon/app icon live — no rebuild or restart required. See the Features articles for details.
