Send push notifications when articles are published using Ntfy. Subscribers receive instant notifications on their devices. Supports self-hosted Ntfy servers.

Credentials

  • Server URL — Ntfy server URL. Default: https://ntfy.sh (public server).
  • Topic Name — The notification topic (e.g., my-site-updates). Subscribers use this to receive notifications.
  • Auth Token (optional) — Authentication token if your Ntfy server requires it.

Setup

  1. Choose a unique topic name.
  2. In Joomla, go to Components, MokoSuite Social, add an Ntfy service, and enter the topic name.
  3. Have subscribers install the Ntfy app and subscribe to your topic.
