What the wizard does
The wizard walks you through the essential configuration floor and lets you stage your first service connections, so you are not hunting through settings screens on day one. It covers:
- Core cross-posting options (auto-post on/off, retry limit, default action).
- Open Graph defaults (site name, default image).
- Optionally connecting your first services (the platforms you post to).
The onboarding tour
Alongside the wizard, a guided onboarding tour points out the main areas of the dashboard — Services, the Posts queue, Templates, Tags and Analytics — so you know where everything lives. You can replay it any time from the control panel.
Finishing and re-running
The wizard runs once on a fresh install and then steps aside; a quick-icon and admin notice keep nudging toward it until it is completed, but normal admin navigation is never trapped. An administrator can re-arm it at any time with the Reset action (or the CLI reset), which optionally purges staged data and runs the wizard again.
Permissions
Running or completing the wizard is gated on the component's Setup permission, so only administrators can change setup state or create the initial service credentials. See Permissions & Access Control.
