Step 1: Company/Organization Setup
Menu path: Home → Setup → Company/Organization
- Name: Enter your company or organization name.
- Logo: Upload a PNG/JPG/GIF (130px height, max 800px width recommended).
- Squared Logo: PNG or JPG used in top-right corner.
- Fiscal Year: Choose the starting month.
- Country: Sets localization features like taxes and IDs.
- Professional IDs: Up to 6 supported, customize via
Setup → Translation
. - Sales Tax (VAT): Enable or disable.
- Second/Third Tax: Optionally enable additional tax types.
Step 2: Activate Modules
Menu path: Home → Setup → Modules
- Toggle modules ON using the "Status" column.
- Recommended modules: Third Party, Invoices, Products.
- Use the gear icon for module-specific settings.
- After activation, assign user permissions.
Step 3: Display Settings
Menu path: Home → Setup → Display
- Language: Default is Auto Detect; enable multi-language for client documents.
- Skin: Choose between Eldy and MD themes. More on Dolistore.
- Dark Mode: Append
&THEME_DARKMODEENABLED=2
to URL to force dark mode. - Misc: Set week start, list length, message of the day (supports variables).
Step 4: Login Page Customization
- Customize login message and background image.
- Show/hide the “Need help or support” link.
Step 5: Menu Configuration
Menu path: Home → Setup → Menus
- Menu Handlers: Choose:
- Eldy: Default, some customization possible.
- Auguria: Fully customizable database menu.
- Menu Editor: Customize Auguria or add to Eldy.
- Misc: Unauthorized entries can be hidden or grayed out.
Step 6: Advanced Options (Optional)
- Widgets
- Alerts & Notifications
- Security
- PDF Templates
- Email and SMS Configuration
- Dictionaries (e.g., payment terms)
- Precision, default filters, etc.
Step 7: User and Permissions Setup
Menu path: Home → Users & Groups
- Create users and assign permissions per module.
- Set default permissions via
Setup → Security
. - Important: Without permissions, features will be hidden.
