How it works
- Regenerated automatically on article save
- Respects per-page noindex settings — noindex pages are excluded
- Respects public access levels — only public content is listed
- Written atomically, so the live sitemap is never left half-written
Enabling
Turn on XML sitemap generation in the plugin settings. Once enabled, the sitemap stays current as you publish and edit content.
Why a Sitemap Helps
An XML sitemap tells search engines which pages exist and when they changed, helping them discover and index your content faster. Because MokonyxSocial keeps the sitemap current automatically, new and updated pages show up without any manual steps.
Good to Know
- Private and noindex pages stay out. The sitemap only lists public, indexable content, so you won't accidentally expose restricted pages.
- It updates as you work. Saving an article regenerates the sitemap, so it always reflects your live content.
- Submit it to search engines. Add the sitemap URL to your search-console tools for the best coverage.
