Where configuration lives

MokonyxPlatform keeps its options together in one place so you are not hunting through several extensions to change behavior. To reach them, open System → Plugins in the Joomla administrator and open the System – MokonyxPlatform plugin. Each setting listed above is grouped under this single plugin.

Understanding the key settings

A few of these settings are worth understanding before you change them:

  • The Health API token guards the endpoint that reports your site's status. Keep it private; anyone with the token can query the health endpoint.
  • The Heartbeat options control whether your site reports to MokonyxHQ, which HQ URLs it uses, and how often it reports. Related help is available in the Heartbeat & MokonyxHQ Integration article.
  • The Primary domain underpins canonical URLs and the defaults used by your site aliases, so it should reflect the address you consider authoritative.
  • The Site aliases table lists the additional domains this installation answers to. See the Site Aliases & Offline Bypass article for details.

Changing settings safely

Because these options affect how your whole site reports, resolves domains, and serves content, it is wise to note your current values before making changes so you can revert if needed. If you are unsure what a setting does or what value is right for your environment, contact Moko Consulting rather than guessing — we can confirm the correct configuration for your site.
