📈 Using the Sales Pipeline & Opportunities Module

Dolibarr’s Opportunities module helps you track sales leads, manage pipelines, and forecast revenue. Whether you're selling services, products, or partnerships, this module gives you a structured workflow to close deals faster.

🧭 Where to Start

Find this feature under Commercial > Opportunities in your Dolibarr navigation bar. From here, you’ll see:

  • 🔄 Status-based stages (e.g., New, In Discussion, Proposal Sent, Won, Lost)
  • 📊 Pipeline views to track deal value, close dates, and stage progress
  • 🧑 Assigned sales reps and expected revenue

➕ Creating a New Opportunity

  1. Go to Opportunities > New Opportunity
  2. Enter:
    • Opportunity title
    • Associated third party (client/prospect)
    • Estimated amount and closing date
    • Assigned user
    • Current stage/status
  3. Save to begin tracking the opportunity’s lifecycle

💡 Pro Tip: Use tags or categories to classify types of deals or campaigns.

🔁 Managing Pipeline Stages

Each opportunity can be moved along your custom sales stages:

  • Use the status dropdown to change stage
  • Log updates like meetings, calls, or emails in the comments/timeline
  • Attach relevant documents or proposals

Use filters to view active deals by user, amount, close date, or probability.

📊 Forecasting and Analytics

Dolibarr gives you visibility into:

  • 💰 Total deal value in each stage
  • 📅 Forecasted revenue by month or quarter
  • 📈 Conversion rates from lead to win

🔒 Permissions and Visibility

Access to Opportunities is managed by user role. You can:

  • Limit users to view/edit only their own deals
  • Share deals with a team or supervisor
  • Restrict financial visibility while still allowing updates

Changes can be made in the admin panel or through your 🔐 Client Portal.
