MokoLogs MCP Roadmap (current stable 04.00.00)
- A 10-tool log-triage toolkit for discovery, tailing, search, error extraction, status, watching, assessment, secret scanning, and findings.
- Multi-source model - named connections with a
type, configured in~/.mokologs-mcp.json. - Local filesystem and remote
linux-sshlog sources. - Bounded reads (default 256 KiB / 2000 lines) so large files never flood the context window.
- Redaction policy that masks secrets, emails, card numbers, and JWTs before output reaches the model.
- File-backed secrets referenced as
file:<path>, never pasted inline. - Server-reduces / model-assesses split, with a dedicated
assess_logsstep.
- Hardening the bounded-read and redaction paths across both the local and SSH source types.
- Broadening
assess_logscoverage for common error and stack-trace formats.
- New source types on the roadmap: joomla, gitea, windows, and mysql.
- Richer cross-source triage so a single assessment can span local and remote logs together.
- Deeper integration with the wider Moko MCP ecosystem (for example feeding findings to monitoring and alerting).
- Expanded redaction and secret-exposure detection patterns.
Items and timing are indicative and may change based on feedback and feasibility.
